Marketing and Technology Intern


CloudWorks is a unique real estate operations company exclusively operating in Yellowknife. Our core business is to provide non-profits, government and small businesses with Yellowknife’s only affordable, full-service, turnkey, and flexible office, retail and residential spaces while diversifying and creating stable revenues for building owners. 

We passionately believe that the buildings and spaces of the future are not meant to be a single space, they are a network of locations, connected by an operational network and a layer of shared online and location-based services. As our business is unique in the real estate world, so are our needs for integrating our online and location-based services.

Intern Job Responsibilities:

  • Integrating Cloudworks marketing, website, online booking/accounting software and location-based services to create a seamless member experience

  • Understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service

  • Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and completion of projects during the internship.

  • Engages with customers or clients as required to improve service

  • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.

  • Learns, modifies, and becomes proficient in internal software and hardware systems.

  • Assists in creating performance objectives and deliverables on a weekly and monthly basis.



Work Hours & Benefits:

  • Wage negotiable based on experience

  • Flexible hours and work locations with private office provided and remote work negotiable

  • Experienced Third-Party IT support available based on project requirements



Intern Qualifications / Skills:

  • This position is funded by Digital Skills for Youth, a federal program for underemployed youth who have completed high school and are between the ages of 18 to 30.

  • Education and/or experience in website design, Project Management, Social Media Management, Cloud Applications and Platform integration.

  • Self-assess as underemployed, meaning they are employed below their level of education, outside their field of study, or hold part-time employment.
