Marketing and Technology Intern

Our core business is to provide non-profits, government and small businesses with Yellowknife’s only affordable, full-service, turnkey, and flexible office, retail and residential spaces while diversifying and creating stable revenues for building owners.

Intern Job Responsibilities:

​

• Integrating Cloudworks marketing, website, online booking/accounting software and location-based services to create a seamless member experience

• Understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service

• Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and completion of projects during the internship.

• Engages with customers or clients as required to improve service

• Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.

• Learns, modifies, and becomes proficient in internal software and hardware systems.

• Assists in creating performance objectives and deliverables on a weekly and monthly basis.

Work Hours & Benefits:

• Wage negotiable based on experience

• Flexible hours and work locations with private office provided and remote work negotiable

• Experienced Third-Party IT support available based on project requirements

 

 

Intern Qualifications / Skills:

​

• This position is funded by Digital Skills for Youth, a federal program for underemployed youth who have completed high school and are between the ages of 18 to 30.

• Education and/or experience in website design, Project Management, Social Media Management, Cloud Applications and Platform integration.

• Self-assess as underemployed, meaning they are employed below their level of education, outside their field of study, or hold part-time employment.
